Irpin will be completely restored in 2 years! Residents are in anticipation of help

The city of Irpin, which 70% was destroyed by the Russian military, can be completely restored in two years. But it requires a lot of money, which is neither in the budget of the hero-city nor in the regional or state treasury. Therefore, the community has begun to search for international sources of funding. For this purpose, the Irpin Recovery Fund was created and presented. How much money should be collected and where the financial support of philanthropists will be directed – Christina Velichanskaya learned.

The Irpin Recovery Fund was replenished with 11 tons of bricks to restore the damaged infrastructure of the city. It was transferred for the needs of the community by the construction company «Molodist» Investment Group». The director of the company notes that this assistance to the Fund is only the beginning.

Volodymyr Spivak, Director of «Molodist» Investment Group»: “We are planning to transfer not only bricks, but also some other building materials that will be needed to restore both social facilities – kindergartens or schools, as well as private estates or apartment buildings. We are a socially active company and want to show entrepreneurs that they must take an active part in the restoration of our city.”

These bricks will be used to restore the “Kolibri” kindergarten in Hryhorii Skovoroda Street which was demaged during the fighting that took place on the territory of Irpin in the spring.

Liubov Shostak, director of the “Kolibri” kindergarten: “The roof of the kindergarten was damaged through the dropping of the projectile. I say thank very much to the business that is involved in the restoration of the kindergarten. If it weren’t for them, I think there wouldn’t have been such a quick recovery.”

The residents of the residential complex “Yesenin” are grateful for building materials.

Denys Lavrovskyi, director of the management company of the “Yesenin” residential complex: “We, the residents of the “Yesenin” residential complex say thank the Molodist Investment Group and the Irpin Recovery Fund that provided us with bricks to restore a part of the facade of our house, after the service company applied.”

By the way, the public organization “Irpin Recovery Fund” was founded by the mayor Oleksandr Markushyn, the chairman of the Investment Council of the city Volodymyr Karpliuk and the people’s deputy of Ukraine Serhiy Taruta.

Preserving the entrance part of the destroyed Central House of Culture for the winter was finished in Irpin. This information was reported by the head of the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions of Irpin City Council Yevhenia Antoniuk on her Facebook page.

“We have finished preserving the part of the Central House of Culture, which survived, although all of it was almost burned down during an unsuccessful attempt to establish the “Russian world” in March 2022,” she said.

According to her, “the conservation measures would not have been possible without the Irpin Restoration Fund, Volodymyr Karplyuk and Oleksandr Markushyn, the Irpin Housing and Communal Services Department and other city services.”

“I am grateful to everyone who does not stop for a minute in search of investments for the restoration of Irpin, ravaged by orcs. Every day and every hour, work continues to preserve or restore the infrastructure of the city, housing of our residents, educational, medical and cultural facilities. And maybe sometimes it seems to someone that it is not so, but believe me – the work and the search for funds and opportunities for their financing continue around the clock, and we will definitely rebuild everything even better,” added Yevheniia Antoniuk.

The Irpin Reconstruction Fund starts publishing video stories about Irpin families who lost their homes (video)

Starting today, the Irpin Reconstruction Fund starts publishing video stories about Irpin families whose houses were destroyed by the Russian invaders. Volodymyr Karpliuk, co-founder of the fund, chairman of the Irpin Investment Council,    announced this on his Facebook page.

“There are over one and a half thousand destroyed private residential buildings in Irpin. Every house is destiny. The fate of people, who lost their homes, lost a roof over their heads. Starting today, we are starting to publish a series of short video films about Irpin families who suffered as a result of Russian aggression and who lost their homes. And we hope that these films will help our Irpin residents to restore their homes, that our international partners, Ukrainian businessmen, seeing the situation these families are in, will be able to help financially, help with construction materials, so that as many Irpin residents as possible can restore their homes.” – said the co-founder of the Irpin Restoration Fund.

According to him, the fund has started collecting materials for the restoration of damaged or destroyed multi-storey buildings and private housing and will soon start transferring these materials to the owners of the apartments.

“I appeal to everyone who can help with building materials – Irpin needs your help! If you wish to donate construction materials for the restoration of damaged high-rise and private buildings in Irpin, please contact the coordinator of the support department of the public organization “Fund for the Restoration of Irpin”: Iryna Kravchuk, +380674428511,” Volodymyr Karpliuk wrote.

We will remind you that the Fund for the Restoration of Irpin was created with the aim of attracting financial, material, technical and organizational resources for the reconstruction of the destroyed and damaged social and residential infrastructure of the city. Its co-founders were also Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn and рeople’s Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Taruta.

Olia Tsybulska joined the team of media ambassadors of the Irpin Restoration Fund (video)

At the meeting with the mayor Oleksandr Markushyn popular Ukrainian singer Olia Tsybulska stated that she wants to join the reconstruction of Irpin.

She said: “I am not a stranger to Irpin, because I love this city, my parents live here. They moved to Irpin three years ago. I lived through everything that happened here, and I know about the occupation, and I thank you for helping to keep my parents alive.”

The singer’s parents were evacuated along with other people. Olya admitted that now Irpin hurts her as much as its residents. And she asked what she could do to help.

“Practically my entire team of communal services, executive committee and many deputies fought – they stayed with me in Irpin and defended Irpin. And now we are rebuilding it with this whole team. The number one task is reconstruction”- claimed Oleksandr Markushyn, Irpin city mayor.

He told that the city has created a special Fund for the restoration of Irpin, where funds are raised for the reconstruction of destroyed and damaged objects. Olia Tsybulska liked the transparent operation of the fund, and that here they do not spend the money of benefactors on the maintenance of the fund itself, while in others, up to 20% of the income is taken for such needs.

“We show: a million has arrived, here are these receipts; we spent – and there is a result. Is that fair? And we took zero to the fund. Zero. And we will be among the first to show the audit of the entire fund”- said Oleksandr Markushyn.

Olia Tsybulska admitted that she was impressed by the results of such work and offered to become a media ambassador for the Irpin Restoration Fund:

“I am ready to join such transparent and clean schemes, because I also encountered a large number of foundations that invite us to charity performances, and when you ask for documentation, they say: “We will transfer it somewhere”.

Olya said that now she and the team will develop plans so that her help is effective. And at the end of the meeting, she left her autograph on the flag of Irpen – among the numerous signatures of distinguished guests of the city.

We will remind that the lead singer of the band “Druha Rika” Valery Kharchyshyn, People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Ponomariov, poet and musician Kolia Serga and rapper Yarmak have already become media ambassadors of the Irpin Restoration Fund; as well as Ukrainian writer Serhiy Zhadan, choreographer Oleksii Surovtsev and “simple guys from YouTube” Bumper and Sus.

Famous male singers became the Media Ambassadors of the Irpin Restoration Fund

“After what was done with it by inhumans from Russia, I have no moral right to stand aside,” one of the popular artists said.

This was reported in the Irpin City Council.

We are talking about the frontman of the Rock band “Druga rika” Valery Kharchyshyn, People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Ponomarev and the famous TV presenter and musician Kolia Serga.

“This city (Irpin – ed.) оn the level with Gostomel, was home for me for a long period of life. After what inhumans from Russia have made with it, I have no moral right to stand aside. I hope we can make the city even better than it was. I would like to draw attention to the need to restore infrastructure and immediately provide housing for residents of Irpin region who lost the roof over their heads. Winter will come soon, so we need to plan and work today” – іmmediately Kharchyshyn commented his participation in the project.

Kolya Serga, who now serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, also came to the presentation.

Tolokers and the Irpin Reconstruction Fund help the Shadurski family to repair temporary housing

An old amphora is the only thing that survived in this house on Severynivska Street in Irpin. Before the war, the Shadurski family lived here. Now there are only burnt walls.

Antonina Shadurska, a resident of Irpin: “It happened around March 17. It burned here for almost three days.”

The Shadurski evacuated from Irpin on March 5. They returned a month later. A terrible picture awaited them at home: a destroyed family nest, damaged cars and a summer house in the yard. Everything was black. And only colorful tulips were poking from under the rubble. The woman says that it was a sign for her and her husband that they cannot give up. And they started looking for help from volunteers.

Antonina Shadurska: “Thank you very much – I want to say to the volunteers of Dobrobat, who gave us hope that we will be able to restore our housing, our house, our summer kitchen.”

After the volunteers cleared the area of debris, the family decided to rebuild the summer house. This is how it looked back in April. And now it is like that.

Currently, the interior works are underway. Volunteers are leveling and plastering the walls. The materials for the works were provided by the Irpin Reconstruction Fund. Deputy from the district Antonina Dovhanych joined the organization of the works.

Antonina Dovhanych, deputy of the Irpin City Council: “It is very difficult to be a deputy in such a difficult time of war. It is very difficult to restore Irpin when there is no light, it is also very difficult to restore it when there are no materials and there are no such wonderful boys and girls who agree to help us. Therefore, my appeal to the people who help us: thank you very much! Those who are willing – join us! This is the Irpin Reconstruction Fund. We really work.”

With the support of the Irpin Reconstruction Fund, Tolokers are repairing the third object in the city. And in general, for the fifth month, young girls and boys don’t get tired of spending their weekends on free help for the affected families, because they believe that this is their front.

Oksana, volunteer: “We will help as much as our people and our country need it. It inspires us; we never get tired of it. This is our front, we feel that this is our task, and we have to do it.”

Antonina Shadurska: “We hope that with their help we will finish our construction as soon as possible, restore temporary housing and start rebuilding our house. With the help of good people, bright hopes.”

Irpin Restoration Fund was created — Mayor

The Irpin Restoration Fund (Kyiv Oblast) will attract funding for the restoration of destruction in the town caused by Russian invaders.

Mayor Oleksandr Markushуn reported.

“The main purpose of the Irpin Restoration Fund is to attract funding through international partners, charitable organizations and funds, private patrons for the restoration of social and housing infrastructure of our town, which were destroyed as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine,” Markushуn wrote.

Irpinhelp.com was also created, which published systematic and structured information about all destroyed and damaged objects in Irpin.

“We have developed a general presentation of destruction in Irpin, a presentation of the destruction of each social and housing infrastructure, and the recovery estimates. There, philanthropists will be able to choose ways to help the Irpin residents – whether it is transferring funds to the accounts of public organization, whether supporting of building materials and equipment, whether “guardianship” over a specific object and “turnkey” restoration of it, – Markushуn added.

He also notes that this week the founders of the Fund will hold a working meeting with the heads of the association of co -owners of an apartment building (OSBB) of destroyed and damaged blocks of flats to develop a further joint plan of action.
