Before war

The first mention of the square where the market was located in the city of Irpin dates back to 1909. It has always been a place of attraction, a place of trade, business meetings, socializing. The market has always had a special economic and social significance for the city. Before the war, more than 260 private individuals were registered in the market, there were 512 outlets, about 1,000 people worked, and taxes were paid to the local budget. The entire market area belongs to the city, except for two buildings. Near the market is a modern residential complex, surrounded by many shops and restaurants.

After the invasion

During the invasion of the Russian occupiers, the market suffered significant damage, shopping malls and buildings were destroyed.
