Before war

The Irpin Museum of History and Local Lore was visited annually by 4 to 6 thousand people before the epidemic. Forty to Eighty excursions and various mass events (exhibitions, presentations, meetings, creative evenings, etc.) are held every year. The museum covers the history of the city of Irpen and the Irpen community and acquaints residents and guests of the city with the work of prominent countrymen - artists, writers, sculptors, masters of folk art. The treasures of the museum are: a stock exhibition about the outstanding kobzar «Musical Instruments of Mykola Budnyk», a collection of paintings «Irpin in the works of Matthew Dontsov,» and the latest work of Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Sydoruk, whose earthly life ended in this museum.

After the invasion

The windows, porch and roof of the museum are damaged. The rooms need expansion, redevelopment and conceptual rethinking. Businesses have destruction inside.
