French communities will help build Irpin. A meeting of Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn with the delegation of the Embassy of Slovenia led by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia in Ukraine Tomaz Mentsyn took place in the premises of the Irpin City Council. The diplomats came to Irpin to meet the head of the community personally, to hear the history of the city’s defense and to learn about the current situation. In particular, the guests were interested in Irpin’s need for international assistance.

For the first time, Irpen visited the delegation, which, apart from European countries, represented Africa and Asia. Today’s guests represent the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which includes national parliaments of 163 countries of the world.
