Before war

As a result of repeated shelling of the lyceum, a fire broke out, the entire roof was destroyed, the outer and inner walls of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the primary school were partially destroyed. The 2nd floor was partially burnt down, the floors on the 2nd and 3rd floors and about 90% of the windows and doors were damaged. In general, the damage and destruction of the institution is about 75%.

After the invasion

Irpin Lyceum №3 is one of the largest institutions of general secondary education in the community and the only institution in the densely populated district of the city. With a capacity of 1700 children, about 1850 students studied here in two shifts. The institution is equipped with 2 classrooms of information and communication technologies, a modern educational space, a school radio, three sports halls, playgrounds and a football field. There are a large number of sports clubs and sections: taekwondo, tennis, basketball, handball, futsal, rugby, cheerleading, karate, free-fight, floorball, rhythmic gymnastics, sports tourism and more. In total, more than 700 children are involved in one or another sport. The institution is part of the network of social and sports schools of the Real Madrid Foundation, which carry out the mission of involvement in sport and socialization of children from lowincome families and children at risk.
